Q. How do Bio-Active Cleaners work? If you apply the Bio-Active Cleaners to any place where there is organic waste they will Q. Where can I use Bio-Active Cleaners? They can be used almost anywhere there is organic soiling. The more waste there is, the better and you will get very good results where there is odour or blockage problems. Q. What is the difference between Bio-Active Cleaners and enzyme cleaners? Enzymes are produced by micro-organisms to liquefy the organic waste so that they can “eat” it. Enzymes are extracted from the micro-organisms to produce enzyme cleaners. Q. How safe are Bio-Active Cleaners? Totally. The bacterial cultures selected are naturally occurring micro-organisms that are approved for use and do not contain anything harmful. In fact, they are the micro-organisms that are around us in our daily lives. The difference with the Bio-Active Cleaners is that certain strains are highly concentrated to target and consume particular organic soiling. Q. How do your products clean up contaminated water? Using the Bio-Active Cleaners, the bacteria contained in them “crowd out” the undesirable micro-organisms. They convert the accumulated organic waste into harmless compounds, seed the biological filters (if installed), reduce ammonia, nitrites and nitrates, reduce nutrient loadings and rebalance the ecosystem. They are used extensively in waste water plants. For larger water resources, our other product, ACT NuAlgi, is recommended. This patented product encourages the growth of diatoms in the water (while consuming carbon dioxide, giving off oxygen and aerating the water) and this, in turn increases the food available for aquatic life.
